How to play Monopoly Live
Monopoly Live uses a giant wheel with a rubber flipper that moves through the pegs as the wheel spins. The flipper is placed beneath a giant arrow. When the wheel stops spinning, the segment beneath this giant arrow is the winner for that round. The aim of the game is to guess which segment will stop underneath the arrow.
The game features four numbered segments; 1, 2, 5, and 10, and three mini-game segments; 2 Rolls, 4 Rolls, and Chance. When the wheel lands on a numbered segment, all players who bet on that segment will receive a payout equal to that number. For example, you bet on the number 5; if the wheel lands on that number, you'll receive a payout of 5 to 1.
Similarly, when the wheel lands on a mini-game segment, all players who bet on that segment can take part in the bonus game. The only exception is the Chance segment, which is available to all players, no matter what they bet.

Special features of Monopoly Live
Monopoly Live features three bonus options which take up a total of six spaces on the game wheel. The Chance feature is available to all players, regardless of what bets you place, but the 2 and 4 Rolls features are only available to players who bet on that space.
2 Rolls & 4 Rolls
In this feature, you're taken to an animated version of the Monopoly board game. Each property is assigned a multiplier, ranging from 1x up to 100x for the most valuable properties. Before the round begins, houses and hotels are placed at random properties, increasing their multiplier.
Two dice are rolled, and Mr Monopoly moves around the board, collecting the multiplier of the property he lands on. This occurs 2 or 4 times, depending on whether the 2 Rolls or 4 Rolls bonus was triggered.
If doubles are rolled, you're given an extra roll of the dice, increasing your potential winnings. This can happen multiple times in the same round. After the last roll, all multipliers are added together. The resulting multiplier is applied to your initial wager to calculate your payout.
For example, you bet $10 on the 2 Roll bonus. The multipliers collected are 5x and 8x, resulting in a total multiplier of 13x. This means that you'll receive a payout of $130.
Chance
If the wheel lands on the Chance segment, all players will receive one of two rewards; a cash prize, or a multiplier. Cash prizes are instantly credited to your account, along with your initial bet. Multipliers are applied to all active bets and the wheel is spun again. If your bet wins, your payout is multiplied by the multiplier.
For example, you bet $10 on the 5 segment. The first spin lands on Chance which gives you an 8x multiplier. The next spin lands on the 5 segment, which means you'll receive $10 x 5 x 8, which is equal to $400.
Monopoly Live strengths and weaknesses
The Monopoly Live casino game has plenty of positive features but there are some negatives that should be considered before you play. Take a look at our list of strengths and weaknesses before you decide whether or not to try this game.
Strengths
- The maximum win available in Monopoly Live is an impressive 10,000x your bet.
- The two primary bonus features can be extended by rolling doubles, increasing your potential payouts.
- The game has a wide betting range, making it accessible for casual players and high rollers.
Weaknesses
- There are only 6 bonus segments on the wheel, which is lower than most other wheel-based live game shows.
- Given the size of the board, it can be hard to get to the big multipliers, even in the 4 Roll bonus.
Game design
The design of this game heavily plays into its Monopoly theme, featuring Monopoly-style bank notes in its betting area and a penthouse-view of the game board behind the wheel – Mr Monopoly himself is even in the room while the game is being played!
The studio looks stunning; the set is given a luxury feel with a marble floor and gold furnishings. By far the best part of the game's design is its animations; having Mr Monopoly skip across the board is a lot of fun, and the fireworks at the end of the bonus rounds look spectacular.
Monopoly Live – our expert opinion
After thoroughly testing Monopoly Live, we can confidently say that it's a solid option for live casino players. The game features an exciting Monopoly-based bonus game with accumulating multipliers, as well as a Chance space that offers cash payouts and multipliers. That being said, we'd like to see more bonus spaces added to the game, as there can be long waits between mini-games.
